Our Facade

Many historic buildings in Braamfontein originally had mosaics on their facades. Whether or not our building was mosaic-fronted, we harken back with the use of contemporary Bisazza tiles.

Our Spaces

Narina Trogon is located on the ground floor of an historic building in Braamfontein. Completely renovated in 2007, 80 diners can be seated easily in a variety of contiguous spaces. It is your choice whether you prefer dining al fresco at the communal refectory table in the bamboo garden, while seated casually at our bar or while seated cozily in front of one of three fireplaces.

Additionally, there are two convertible private dining rooms, each able to seat 12 or 25+ if booked together, for conferences or private functions.

Our Food

Meals are simple and moreish. We use fresh, in-season produce; grass-fed and antibiotic-free beef; free-range chicken and eggs and SASSI compliant fish. Our breads, cakes and puddings are baked daily on the premises. Our coffee comes from a farm in Malawian and is roasted down the street. Ice cream is churned in our kitchen; olive oil comes from a farm in the Klein Karoo and our cheeses are all made in South Africa.
